This patient was unhappy with the appearance of her four upper front teeth.
She did not wish to have orthodontic treatment (see picture below)
The two upper front teeth were crowded out of their normal position and were also tipped forward.
With the amount of crowding and rotation of the two front teeth, the only way to improve the appearance of this nice patient’s smile would be orthodontic treatment or extraction of the two front teeth followed by the placement of implants or a bridge.
Our patient chose to have the two upper front teeth removed followed by the placement of a bridge.
We did a little reshaping of some of the neighbouring teeth that were a little too pointy. The final upper front bridge is in place. A picture tells a thousand words and this happy smile speaks for itself.

This patient requested implants to replace two missing upper left teeth.
Note that some of these pictures were taken using a dental mirror and some were not, so in some pictures the right and left sides of the mouth may be reversed (mirror image).
I placed two dental implants in the upper left. A protective metal cap was placed on each implant.
These implants were left in place for 12 weeks. In order to improve the patient’s chewing ability during this time I cemented a temporary bridge in place.
The temporary bridge improves appearance, and chewing ability
