This patient came to our office for tooth whitening. She also had one discoloured tooth as you can see in the photos provided.
I recommended our patient shorten her two upper front teeth which was done in a few minutes, painlessly without freezing. And lastly, tooth coloured filling material was placed over the discoloured tooth. Below are the final photos.
Note: The white discolouration on the teeth is hypocalcification (areas of enamel lacking in calcium) which cannot be corrected by tooth whitening alone, but could be corrected by covering the discolored areas with tooth coloured filling material or porcelain veneers

Every patient we see has their own unique needs and preferences. The patient pictured below wanted to improve the appearance of his smile but did not want a complete makeover (i.e. he did not want orthodontics, whitening, veneers, etc).
I recommended we (1) remove the upper left front tooth (the one that was badly out of position). and (2) recommended making the two front teeth a little narrower as they were quite wide and overlapped the neighbouring teeth. The picture below shows these two changes:
The lower tooth below the extracted one was also leveled off (shortened) to allow more room for an upper replacement tooth.
