Every patient we see has their own unique needs and preferences. The patient pictured below wanted to improve the appearance of his smile but did not want a complete makeover (i.e. he did not want orthodontics, whitening, veneers,etc).
I recommended we (1) remove the upper left front tooth (the one that was badly out of position). and (2) recommended making the two front teeth a little narrower as they were quite wide and overlapped the neighbouring teeth. The picture below shows these two changes:
The lower tooth below the extracted one was also leveled off (shortened) to allow more room for an upper replacement tooth.
