This patient came to our office for tooth whitening. She also had one discoloured tooth as you can see in the photos provided. I recommended our patient shorten her two upper front teeth which was done in a few minutes, painlessly without freezing. And lastly, tooth coloured filling material was placed over the discoloured tooth. Below are the final photos. Note: The white discolouration on the teeth is hypocalcification (areas of enamel lacking in calcium) which cannot be corrected by tooth whitening alone, but could be corrected by covering the discolored areas with tooth coloured filling material or porcelain veneers
